True 3 ring type, has competed and excelled in all 3. Always in the ribbons, ALWAYS brings home the blue over fences. Has shown up to 3’ with previous owner & up to 2’3 with myself; schooled through 2’9 while I’ve had him. Has competed in weekend, one day, local, State Fair & Sedgefield; is always the same horse. Can go in cold or after a 30 minute warmup and won’t disappoint!
✅ brave, careful, willing, and forgiving; just wants to please & have his own person
✅ usually a push ride on the flat, easy, comfortable, and scopey over fences
✅ transitions! Halt/walk/trot to canters and easy downwards
✅ has Dressage education through 1st level, collects, extends, and counters
✅ leads & changes. R > L is automatic, L > R 90% auto, will always give if asked
✅ no buck, spook or bolt! Hacks alone, in a group, or with a pack of dogs just fine. Schools XC fences and has a great time.
✅ ammy & intermediate friendly, was actually shown by an ammy student of mine and they won a payback of 10+ riders (has taught many lessons to a handful of my ammys recently)
✅ ties, loads, and stands. Tied to the trailer like a dream for hours at shows and on outings. Always drinks & eats! Will load in your small last stall in a slant load too.
✅ easy keeper. Gets 1.5lb grain per feeding, no hay (on grass), shod up front only, poos in a corner if stalled.
✅ great for vet, farrier, bodywork, etc. will happily let you clean his sheath… may enjoy it a little too much 😅
✅ sweetest boy on the ground, doesn’t run off or pull. Loves treats, has been walked around by children. Can be a little mouthy but never malicious.
✅ stalls well, pastures alone, in small or large groups just fine. Usually middle/upper in the herd.
Love this guy, has been the easiest OTTB I’ve ever had and such a fast/willing learner. Already have a personal horse and one in the oven, otherwise he’d be a keeper but he deserves his own human(s).
