Penelope is a 9 year old mare. She used to do gymkhanas with my 12 year old daughter but now is a trail horse. She does not do gymkhanas any more due to a swollen suspensory ligament that has been vet checked and treated. Her only limitation is to make fast sharp turns (like rodeo and gymkhanas). She is a great trail horse - does not spook, and is willing to follow her handler. She is great for 4H showmanship. She can give kids rides without any problem, great for a kid who is ready for their first horse! My daughter and I are sad to see Penelope move on, but she is ready to start a new chapter of her life.
