Spirit has very limited showing in AQHA or NRHA events, but has won several buckles and high point awards in local all-breed Ranch Horse Versatility shows. He won the Four Corners Cutting & Reining Association Maturity in 2021 & 2022. Classes included Reining, Ranch Trail, Ranch Pleasure and Box/Drive Class. His sire, Smart Gin was an AQHA World Show Reining finalist, he had a Superior in Reining and won multiple NRHA Bronze trophies. Spirit is the third horse I have owned out of Smart Gin. All are great horses. Spirit can plus half all reining maneuvers. He is a great mover with an awesome extended trot. He also excels in the Ranch Trail.
