Georgia is a 13 year old mare I pulled from Sugarcreek in January. She had lost her sight due to uveitis, respiratory infection, and had some minor wounds to her chest. Has since recovered (other than eyesight), is utd on dental/farrier, and doing very well. She is stone blind, but gets along great. Has no issues in a solid board fence and here's the amazing thing...she is NOT buddy sour! She doesn't care who she's with or if left alone, is chill with anyone you put her with. Not sure if she is broke to ride or not, but she does lunge and I have put a saddle on her a couple times with no issue. She is friendly, calls out and comes to the fence for attention when she hears people walk up. Easy to lead and load. There is a low rehoming fee, but I am looking to find her a loving home with a petting zoo or therapy program. Or someone with experience further training a blind horse. She would make a great pasture companion as well, I just want to ensure she will be well cared for wherever she goes.
