He is truly the one-of-a-kind "heart horse" we all search for. As Ronald Reagan put it, "There is nothing better for the inside of a man than the outside of a horse." & he is absolutely right. Spade is a 2019 AQHA Gelding who is more special than I could ever describe. You’ll fall in love with Spade from start to finish. He greets you wherever you are, eagerly putting his head into the halter. I read a book in the hammock after turning all the horses out to graze last Sunday. I'm sure you can guess which horse hung out with me that afternoon. Spade's ability to connect with people is truly magical. I train horses for a living & I can honestly say I haven’t had an experience with a horse like this since I was 8.
Spade has loads of training & exposure - from spending time in the panhandle learning a days work at the feed yard, to being used for daily ranch chores in Southern AZ, excelling through versatility ranch horse training, show experience, parades, trail riding ALL over the country (KY, NM, AZ, WY, TX), to toting the kids around. One cold Texas day in 2019, I loaded a small bay weanling onto my trailer. I was eager to teach him & see what his future held.
