Daz is a 17 year old AQHA palomino mare, she stands 14.2 hands and has a nice stocky build with good bone and feet. This little mare has done a little bit of everything but her area of expertise is on the barrel pattern where she has brought home plenty of checks. She thrives on the energy at an open rodeo and loves to be under the lights. She also does well at a jackpot and is solidly in the 2D-3D. She has a fantastic handle, soft in the bridle and off of your leg, she also listens to voice ques. She has a ton of go and when out on the trail she can cover some country and doesn’t mince her steps in the arena either. She’s catty and fun to ride and you would never know she is 17. Daz also has experience as a pole bending horse, has been roped off of and several people have commented that she would make a great breakaway horse. This mare is capable of doing any job and just needs her person. She would really excel with a confident youth who wants to compete and have a daily riding partner. Daz travels alone like a champ, she stands tied, stalls, and doesn’t have any issues eating or drinking when she is on the road. She also doesn’t mind living alone and tends to be low man on the totem pole when she is in a herd. She is an easy keeper and doesn’t require a ton of supplements to be healthy and happy. She has also been healthy and sound, she gets regular chiropractics to keep her feeling her best, she is current on vaccines and dental and has recently had a round of Adequan. She does well barefoot when just being used in the arena and in an area with softer ground then ours she could probably be barefoot year around. Daz’s biggest asset is her athleticism, drive and need to please her rider. She would love a partner that wants to do everything with her, compete, trail ride, work cows, you name it, I guarantee she would carry you. She loves to have a purpose! She is in shape and ready to hit any winter series! Video: https://youtu.be/Y8WqNt6Jpn8?si=zbYuL2Rm9p9SVYx- Barrel videos available also
