Angel is true to her name. So gentle a 2 year old can load her!! (In the video!) She is the sweetest filly and has been since the day she hit the ground. She does all the things a baby horse should and has been raised in the pasture with another yearling, older performance horses, and ponies. She is lower in pecking order and doesn’t want to fight but everyone loves her. I am only considering letting her go because I have 3 babies due in the spring including one out of her dam. Angel is absolutely gorgeous and I don’t think she has ever went through an ugly phase. She has the hair gene from BOTH of her parents and already has a thick long mane and tail. Her dam was coming on as a strong competitor in the barrel pen until she unfortunately sustained a career ending injury. She is still incredibly athletic and you’d never know she was injured watching her in the pasture. Both of her parents have good solid bone and are built to last! Her sire, Just Fire is a proven competitor and sire in just about any discipline you can imagine. All of his foals are extremely good minded and just want to please. Barrels, poles, roping cutting, reining, on the track, calf roping, etc. The possibilities are truly endless with this sweet girl! Be sure to watch her video, she is a gorgeous mover with a huge stride and reach. Also included is my son loading her in the trailer. She has been saddled and ridden around the field once for about 2 minutes and acted like we did it everyday. She already stands 14.1 at the wither and 14.3 at the hip and is going to be a big gorgeous girl and easily ready to start in the spring. A youth could easily start her with guidance. She would be a great first project for someone. She will bring double in just a few months but with time being so scarce for me, I’d rather let someone else go on with her. The hard part is done!
