Sid is a beautiful registered straight Egyptian Arabian, sweepstakes nominated with beauty and brains. He was gelded and started under saddle late in life as a 10 year old. He’s been a ridden on the beach, on the trail and has been camping. He prefers trail over arena. Crosses bridges and loves to see what’s around the next corner. He’s courageous and rarely spooks. He was started right with 30 days of ground work, then the trainer hopped on and hit the trails for 30 days. He was meant to be my next endurance horse but he’s had a few setbacks and he has been more of a pasture pet in the last few years. At this point he’s not going to be an endurance horse, barrel horse or an extreme mountain horse and he require some maintenance. His ideal home would be as a lightly ridden trail, obstacle or camping buddy with someone to love him. Not an ideal companion horse as he is always the leader in his herd. Has been ridden English and western, bitted, bit-less and bridleless (in a round pen) He’s soft and responsive to rein and leg aids and requires an intermediate level light weight rider. Has worn synthetic nail on shoes, hoof boots and gone barefoot. Has been ridden treeless, in a treed saddle and bareback. Is an easy keeper and grows a nice winter coat which he sheds appropriately. He loves attention and will always come to the gate, especially if you have halter in your hand. His tack can go with him for an additional cost. To approved home only. Flippers should keep looking. He can stay with me forever if he doesn’t find the right home.
