Cactus is a 14.3hh steel gray 5 yr old mare, Cactus has spent her life being a working citizen and takes a days work better than most using horses. Cactus is always eager to please, catch her wherever you find her, saddle her right up and step to her, she never gets fresh, always soft in the face, level headed, and gentle ! If you need a good mount that’s reliable, cactus is your gal! Cactus has spent some time penning back at the stockyards, trail rode thousands of miles, tons of hours in the arena, and even has been giving some lessons here lately toting the little tots around ! You can saddle cactus up at 9am and go rope a few, then turn her loose for your children to ride, she’s very honest and aims to please and take care of her rider. Cactus is very broke, she will one hand neckrein, turn on her honches, stops on whoa, collects up, and backs up with just a little bump to her shoulder ! Cactus has gone English and started taking a small cross rail with ease as well, one thing I love about cactus is she’s not marish, she reminds you of a good ole gelding that’s always eager to please and be petted on. Cactus has good clean legs and black hooves, she always stays sound after a hard days work, and has good hard hooves. Cactus is well mannered for the farrier, the vet, and to bathe. One reason I believe cactus is so special is, she’s reliable, and I don’t say that often, there’s no quirks, vices or anything bad to say about her, she’s always just a good horse and takes everything with ease. Cactus will load right up on a trailer and unload quite and gentle even in a new setting.
