Pi is a ten year old, grade, buckskin quarter horse gelding. He is 15hh and stocky built.
He is a fun, all-around using horse who is just as at home putting in a full day's work as he is going for a peaceful trail ride with friends.
He is easy to catch and tacks up standing loose or tied hard. He is also easy to shoe.
He stands rock solid for mounting and will even pick you up off of a fence or mounting block.
He is an honest horse who will go right to work doing whatever you like.
He has worked at several guest ranches and spent last summer guiding rides at Mormon Lake. You can pony off of him, flag other horses off of him and swing a rope off of him. HE IS NOT A MADE ROPE HORSE, TEAM ROPING, OR BARREL PROSPECT. He has worked cows both in an arena and outside and enjoys it.
He loads in any trailer. I have hauled him across the country and I have ridden him in all sorts of environments, including clinics, rough ranchland, miles of trails and even through the town of Sedona. He has also been used in overnight hunting camps. He crosses water and logs with no problem.
He can do all of that and still be ready to hang out and enjoy a beer and pets at the end of the day.
His work ethic and personality make him a great all-around horse and a true partner.
