Alex is a 15.3 hand Friesian/Thoroughbred cross gelding. He has been ridden for pleasure on trails and in the arena. He is happy hacking out in a group or alone with a confident rider. He is unafraid of passing cars/dirt bikes, barking dogs, gunshot sounds, kids, and other animals. He can be a bit pushy on the ground, particularly when food is involved, so is best suited for an intermediate or up rider.

The ideal home for Alex is one with a pasture setup or paddock with turnout. He does not do well stalled. He is in-your-pocket and incredibly smart, so is happiest with ample turnout, friends, and spending time with his humans because he can get bored. He is good with other horses and an easy keeper. His only maintenance is that he requires shoes (tender on gravel when barefoot). A good match/home is most important!
