You can walk up to this gelding and when you reach over his neck to put the halter on he will turn his head toward you and put his nose in. He spent his younger days competing in Western Pleasure, Halter and English classes. Yes he rides Western and English equally well. He is soft in his face and has a nice collected trot and a controlled lope. He responds to leg cues and va very light rein. I have owned him for about 2 1/2 years and have mostly been trail riding on him. He is cow bred but has spent most of his life in an arena. I I herded and sorted cows on him a couple of times and he was a natural. Although he is 18, he still has plenty of go. He is a pleasure to ride and I am only selling him because I have been transitioning to gaited horses. He stands for the farrier, loads, etc and is UTD on Coggins & vaccinations.
