Lacey (as we affectionately call her) is a large-sized 2018 Gypsy Vanner mare looking for a new home. She measures just under 15hh and is Ee aa W20/TO Zz. She is a prima donna that adores being groomed and will stand still for up to two hours without being tied just to receive grooming. She has beautiful markings and one partial blue eye. She is registered with the Gypsy Vanner Horse Society as GV08217. She is PSSM1 and FIS negative by testing. As most silver Gypsy Vanner horses are, she is out of the The Boss lineage which traces back to The Roadsweeper and The Coal Horse. She is near the bottom of the dominance hierarchy in the paddock with our other horses and generally bonds with one other special friend in the paddock. She does not enjoy being by herself, so we would desire that she has companionship in her next home. She is not broken to ride, but with some training she could make a great riding mare. She has successfully provided us a filly this year and is in foal to our Buckskin Tobiano stallion, RG Encore’s Mason. We have decided to focus our breeding efforts on horses closer to the 14hh range where possible, and she is just a bit over the size that we desire. Asking $18,500 in foal. If not interested in foal, and can wait until approximately September next year when the foal is weaned, asking $12,000 for just Lacey.
