Sweet, sensitive Andalusian mare (registered IALHA) is looking for her soulmate. Approximately 15.2-
15.3. Just turned 12 in October (late baby). Schooling 2 nd -3 rd level dressage. Her previous trainer had just
started changes, but I have not worked on them. Have played with half steps. Athletic and capable,
wants a light contact in the bridle, rides more off seat. Very comfortable ride, all gaits. Goes in snaffle
and double bridle. Lunges, ground drives, likes cavaletti work. I have owned her for 1.5 yrs and have
sadly decided she and I are not a good match. A little too sensitive and reactive for me (an older rider).
She does not buck or rear, but does have a spook. I have ground driven her around on trails, but I don’t
ride her on trails due to the spook and so many deer/turkeys around my place. She has been very sound
and has great feet—goes barefoot. She does have some small melanomas under her tail and is on
medication for them. Good for vet and farrier. Lives in a mixed herd. Lots of turnout, ideally with a
friend or two, would work best for her. Suited for professional or experienced AA in a program with a
trainer. She needs consistent work. This is not the best time to advertise her since I have no indoor
arena and my outdoor ring is frozen over. I don’t really expect her to sell until spring when I have use of
