We’ve got the COOLEST mare in right now (although, lately the girls have been one after another fantastic)! She’s not the biggest girl measuring a hair over 15.3h, but she’s got a lovely barrel to her and is going to be perfect for a confident teen or smaller adult. You better have goals because hers is to be perfect at everything she does! This is one of the smartest horses we’ve had move through the barn and confident in herself doesn’t even begin to describe the way this one marches around the ring. She’s only two rides in and starting to put together little courses, she is bold, handy, athletic and careful as can be. I think she’d really excel in a jumper, eventing or fox hunting career. Our favorite part about her is that while her work ethic is fantastic, you can turn her on and turn her off. She will come right back to the walk on a loose rein until you pick up and go to the next task. She is balanced and light - if anything will get a bit behind the bit so we are working on pushing her a little more forward into it. This gal does nothing dirty, no buck spook or rear but is going to expect a pilot that is quiet that will guide her but sit back and let her do the hard work. Windy City Girl is a 2015, RRP Eligible with two rides under her belt. She came to us barefoot and ran her last start that way and was a little footsore / body sore because of it.
