We hate to see this one go! Lukes Last Shine – Bert is a true all-around gelding that can show in ANY class all day long! He has been in my barn for 6+ years and an amazing teacher for a handful of girls in my program. Owner is motivated to sell and open to offers. Bert excels in the showmanship, horsemanship, equitation, trail & hunter under saddle. He also loves doing the ranch riding. Bert has 4 sets of papers – AQHA/ABRA/IBHA/NSBA – go show him in the color classes too.
With limited AQHA showing he has brought home multiple circuit and all-around hi-points. Multiple top tens at Level 1 East, finalists in the Showmanship & Equitation at QH Congress this past year. Bronze champion at the AQHA World Show in the Level 1 Showmanship and Top Ten in the Horsemanship and Equitation. 2023 MQHA year end: Hi-Point L1 All-Around Amateur, Champion Showmanship, Horsemanship and Equitation, Reserve Champion Amateur Horsemanship, 3rd place Equitation, 6th Showmanship (even after missing 3 circuit shows for the year). 2023 Top 5 in the nation with AQHA in Horsemanship, Top 10 in Showmanship and Equitation. Bert has too many ABRA and IBHA World Show titles and all-around titles to list. He has helped his riders win multiple saddles over the years.
Don’t let his age fool you, lots of show years left on this one! Sound sane and ready to go show anywhere tomorrow. 16.2h, 2007 Gelding requiring minimal maintenance. Stands politely for vet and farrier, no vices, great hauler, clips without a twitch.
