Tiz Octavia is the nine-year-old TB bay mare who looks like she has just stepped out of a Sir Alfred Munnings portrait. "Tavia" stands at 15.2 hands. She has a good mind and settles easily; is a thick, stocky build, clean-legged and whip-smart. She loves attention from people of all ages, and is incredibly sweet. She gets along well with other horses, and has no vices. Cross ties, loves a good groom, is always searching for a treat. Octavia just completed an intense, “boot camp” restart, which included participation in the recent Myopia Hunter Pace, Crane Beach Hunt Ride, Thursday Hound Exercises at the Myopia Schooling Fields, and the annual Myopia Thanksgiving Hunt. She has been worked on a regular schedule for the past sixty days, and is an excellent prospect for cross county eventing. She loves speed, recently exploding from the second field to first field at the Thanksgiving Hunt, with plenty of gas left in her tank. She is best suited for an experienced, professional rider who enjoys cross country / eventing. She is completely sport horse bred and should love to jump with her bloodlines. With the recently retired great Tiznow on one side, A.P. Indy /Seattle Slew on the other, she has fantastic event horse bloodlines, and could produce very fine foals if bred to a decent sire. Harkens back to the Godolphin Arabian through Relaunch and Cee’s Tizzy. HEALTH: She has been recently evaluated for mild kissing spine at Grafton, MA (Nuclear Scan), and our vet found no reason to limit her. Happy to share all of her records. Would also consider a FT lease, seasonal lease, and lease as a broodmare to a proven sire.
