2019 15.3h bay Thoroughbred mare (Al Khali/Sammzilla)
One of the most uncomplicated Thoroughbreds we’ve ever had, she is easy to handle on the ground and easy under saddle.
With her stocky build and easy going temperament, we are constantly asked if she’s one of our “bred to be a fox hunter” crossbreds.
Hunted her first season with Genesee Valley Hunt this year. Quiet hunter, stands quietly at checks, jumps logs and coops, gets gates, goes in all flights in a D-ring Myler snaffle.
Arden has horse camped, hunter paced, started in some h/j lessons, trail rides solo and in groups, ponies other horses and is one of our reliable mounts for ponying our 4yr old daughter’s mount on rides.
Lives out 24/7, excellent ground manners, good for farrier and vet, lives in a mixed herd and with cows. Blankets/trailers/straight ties/crossties
Can be led by a child and started lead line riding.
We see her excelling as a Husband horse/ladies hunter/juniors mount or all around family horse. This is absolutely the mare your horse crazy kid will steal from you!
Inspected Westfalen Mare Book I - scoring a 7.1 with the inspector having lovely comments about her structure and movement. Broodmare option!
