Nikes Strait Poco is a 2017 (6yo) APHA mare. She is E/e a/a T/T Sp1/sp1 and 6 panel negative. She is homozygous tobiano meaning she will always have colored foals. She is DNA tested with the APHA as well. She was exposed this spring once but didn't take (no fault of her own). Nike has a killer pedigree. She is a granddaughter of Strait From Texas and QT Poco Streke. She's a cute mare sitting at around 15h though I haven't sticked her. I purchased Nike last winter as a project. She loads, leads, ties. She stands well in the stocks and did well for my vet and farrier with some patience. Nike is skiddish and bonds quickly to other horses. Im not sure what her history was before I got her. Her biggest vice is she is extremely difficult to catch. Putting your arms around her or throwing a lead rope over her neck sends her running for the hills. Having a smaller space helps. Once she is caught she is easy to handle. I've worked her in the roundpen twice. She has some sass, but learns quick and would make someone a bang up horse. I was in an accident this summer that left me with a lingering concussion. I need something with a little less fire and she needs someone who's doctor hasn't forbid them to knock their head. Thats the only reason she is for sale. I would be open to trades for older APHA mares, broodmares, the more woah than go types.
