Beautiful, gentle and kind all describe Drey! This sweetheart of a gelding is the first one to the halter, every time, excellent ground manners and a fun ride! Drey loves to trail ride! He is a confident leader, with a smooth, naturally forward walking stride. He is bold crossing bridges, water, logs and climbing rocky hillsides. He has been ridden in thick brush and doesn’t mind the belly scrapes and tickles. Drey is light in the bridle, breaks and the poll, moves off leg cues, can disengage his hindquarters or roll over his hocks. He has an excellent back up and side pass. Drey can carry a rider smoothly in a short jog or extend to a ground covering long trot. He has a balanced, effortless lope as well. Drey rides bareback and in a halter. He has been desensitized with goofy objects such as flags, tarps and carrying cones. He is not afraid of water bottle noises and doesn’t mind you to put on or take off your jacket. Drey will stand at the mounting block or fence for mounting as well. This horse LOVES attention; bathes, clips and stands for the farrier. He stands tied for hours without a fuss, loads and trailers flawlessly. Flawless to saddle and scoops up the bit himself when bridling. He is sound, clean legged, goes barefoot or shod (currently barefoot), is UTD on vaccinations, deworming and dental care. Drey is ready for his next person to make him their best friend or family to love him!
