Ulrich Mystery Print is a 15.2HH 2016 Appaloosa Stud registered with ApHC as well as the Walkaloosa Horse Association (WHA). He carries one copy of LP, is homozygous for the PATN1 gene, and carries one copy of the DMRT3 gene for gait! Full genetics - Ee aa LP/n PATN1/PATN1 DMRT3/n. He is foundation bred and carries the coveted Ulrich name. He is 6 panel negative for genetic diseases. Some of the old appaloosa bloodlines could gait and were called "Shuffling" appaloosas. These bloodlines are very rare in purebred appaloosas and Mystery is one of those few carrying DMRT3 for gait. He has produced purebred Appaloosa foals as well as lovely Walkaloosa foals crossed with other gaited breed mares. Mystery has tons of mane and tail and throws it to his foals! No appaloosa rat tails here! Mystery will throw leopard pattern foals or solid foals when bred to solid colored mares, no varnish roans. He has a sweet, lovable disposition and is easy to handle. He pastures well with mares for live cover and can be hand bred with no problems. We put a fair bit of riding on Mystery 2 years ago and he did really well. Riding video is from then. He would need to be restarted if you wanted to ride him. But he's ready to make amazing foals for someone or geld him for a fabulous, flashy mount!
