This girl has been started slowly, it doesn’t matter if you ride every day or once every 6 months she is the same horse every time you get on her. I had started her lightly at age 3 under saddle and hurt my knee and didn’t ride for months put a saddle back on her and she was great she is still green and sometimes fusses over leaving the ranch but with patients she always leaves and we head out alone. We have only ridden once with a pair of horses and she was great behind them or in the lead. No kick or buck. No bolting she is sweet as can be she will nip here and there to get your attention but she is just wonderful. This is hard for me I’m finding with my new job I don’t have much time any more and my daughter is moving out of state. She is not for a beginner rider she needs someone who is experienced but gentle I she yields her hind end and forequaters easily she walks trots and canters. I haven’t worked much on side passing but don’t think it would take long for her to get it we mostly trail ride. She lunges beautifully and listens well I use Clinton’s style of point and clutch to get her to move and while riding I also use kissing noises no kicking just some leg pressure. I did have her wolf tooth pulled but I have only put a bit in her mouth a few times she was fine with it but I use a side pull to ride her out on trail and the arena. I have ridden her in both English saddle and western. She is mutten withered and short backed.
