Meet Gin!!
Gin is a well broke 6 year old red roan mare. Very sweet natured, friendly, no bad habits, does everything! She is road safe, does obstacles in an arena, has ridden bridleless in an arena, she has tons of trail miles, loads, bathes, stands good for everything, mid range in pecking order with the herd. Smooth to ride. Loves kids, dogs, cows, cats. We have shot guns around her too, and she doesn't really mind. She is an easy keeper too, just a half scoop of feed and a few flakes of hay each feeding. She is the kind of horse that can be ridden once a month and be ready to go, just a little longe line for a few minutes before stepping up on her. Also stands quietly to mount whether from ground or from mounting block.
I want to see her go to a kid who would want to take her to fun shows and enter her in all the fun classes and have a blast all day! That's the kind of horse Gin is.
The only reason I am (regretfully) selling her is because I can't afford two horses right now.
She is sound, has never taken a lame step for us. She does require front shoes at all times due to her toe-in, but that is the only thing we do for her.
This mare is very broke. We have taken her swimming in our lake, we have played around with her with all the fun obstacles and silly things that trainers use for desensitizing, including pushing a giant ball and crossing a bridge and walking through a streamer walkway. She is quiet, willing and fun.
