As parents, we want to watch our children learn, grow, and experience life to the fullest while keeping them safe. Loretta is a true gentle giant! Her kind eye, calm disposition, big heart, and more whoa than go style makes her an exceptional choice for the next family pet! Loretta is super gentle! She is no stranger to being pampered. She enjoys a bath. She will stand for hours while I braid her mane and blow dry her feathering. She stands crossed tied. Stands for the farrier. Leads, loads, and ties as she should. Loretta is an impeccable trail mount. Load the saddle bags or load the kids….she is no stranger to the occasion. She is often our first choice to tote my 11 month old son with us around the farm and on trails. On the trail she is confident, will go where she is asked. She will ride out alone, is not herd bound. Or she will ride in a group….in the front or throw a kid on her and she’ll follow the pack all day long. Loretta has also been started over jumps and is taking to the task well. Loretta is the unload and ride anywhere style. She is the same in town as she is at home. Traffic safe. We have ridden her along a four lane highway and down the median, zero issues. Always calm and cool. Loretta is a true family horse. Daily, she is exposed to the commotions of everyday life. She is comfortable around children, farm equipment, fourwheelers, strollers, wildlife, and other livestock.
