Lenny is a 9 yr old QH grade gelding. He is 15.1 hh, is a “get on and go” type of gelding, stands for mounting/dismounting, has excellent ground manners, stands tied quietly, picks up feet easily, loves to be groomed and bathed, and overall, just hangs out relaxing until its work time. Lenny has been used mostly for ranch and trail riding. He has been used to sort and work cattle, is sure-footed, goes through water, goes out alone or in a group, has been to the ocean, and camping. He hobbles and/or high lines, eats/drinks on the road well, loads/unloads trailers with ease, and is good in new places. He has a Natural Horsemanship foundation, carries a flag, goes over/drags tarps, smoke machine, plastic bags, quads, motorcycles, dogs, kids running around, and traffic are amongst a few common occurrences that Lenny is accustomed. You can ride him next to traffic on your way to the local Bar and Grill- tie him up and get some good grub. He will quietly wait for you to return. Lenny is quiet but not a dead head. He has a ground covering walk, comfortable jog with a head set, great long trot, and smooth canter. In the arena, he picks up leads with ease, has a nice stop, moves off leg appropriately, side pass, open/close gates, and has a nice neck rein. Lenny would be a gorgeous and natural show horse in Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail, Ranch Versatility, Sorting, Queen, Trail Trials, and/or English. He goes over small jumps with ease and enjoys the movement and fluidity of Dressage. He would also be a great horse for the faster events such as Roping, Barrels, Penning, and Cowboy Mounted Shooting. The training foundation and miles are all there and he can go any direction. He has mostly been ridden by experienced riders, but would be suitable for any level if under the proper guidance. He is eager to learn and has a willing attitude with new situations and riders. He would be ideal for a trainer with clients, Mounted Patrol, and Search and Rescue. He has a sweet and kind disposition, LOVES kids and loves attention, making him an excellent candidate for a therapy horse. Lenny is utd on Coggins, shots, worming, dental, and feet. He currently has a full set of shoes but can go barefoot. He is excellent for the farrier, easy to deworm, give vaccinations, and loves the Chiropractor and bodywork lady. If you are looking for that all around type of gelding, wanting to finish one out in the competitive arena, or a family horse- Look no further than Lenny. Shipping is Available
