Phoenix is a grade Thoroughbred gelding that has had 3 months professional training. He excels at trail riding with a nice ground covering walk that will keep you smiling, not spooky and more whoa than go. He has been extensively trail ridden locally through neighborhoods, deserts, arroyos and canyons. He has also been hauled to ropings to see the sights and move steers and has just started to be dallied off of. He will go over tarps, irrigation bridges, piles of railroad ties, and I just won the novice trail obstacle challenge on him after just 3 months of being broke to ride and only the second time riding him. Obstacles included a narrow bridge, logs, back thru serpentine, garoucha pole, gate, back through, sidepass, square and ringing a bell a the end. He is so good minded that he has the potential to do anything you want him to do. This horse was bought 3 months ago and was only halter broke and afraid of people. He has blossomed in the last 3 months to unicorn heights under his trainer who trains roping horses and charro horses. For him to only have 3 months under saddle and for me to step on him after only riding him on the trial once prior and win the trail class tells you how good minded he is and how much he will become the horse of someones dreams. I really am tempted to keep him but I already have 6 horses and want him to go to someone that will realize his full potential. I have videos I can send upon request.
