17/18 year old grade American Paint Horse for sale. 16 HH and well built.
This guy is a beautiful mover, safe and sound. He has a funny, curious nature and absolutely LOVES to work and learn! He stands well for the farrier and is currently barefoot, but will benefit from front shoes in the summer or if you ride on rocky surfaces. He can load/unload in a large trailer, but 2 horse trailers make him nervous. We are currently working on that, as you can see in the pictures, but a large trailer would suit him best.
He is an easy keeper with no maintenance necessary. He has done OSHET, 4H, trails and been a lesson horse, but lessons did not suit him well. He really needs his own person. He has been well trained and enjoys the work.
He can ride out alone, but gets anxious if he is the one left behind. He is well trained in showmanship, knows how to side pass, haunch turn, forehand turn, and back. He is deaf, and so has a few different cues, but it’s easy to work with once you get used to it. He is dominant with our mare and can be food aggressive. He would do well with a confident intermediate level rider or above. I do not recommend a beginner. Email or text to set up a time to meet him! He’s a sweet, funny guy!
