Rooster is a 5 yr. old 34" mini paint gelding. He is truly a gem, not one mean bone in his body, excellent ground manners, our 8 yr old daughter (Adalynn) catches, saddles and bridles Rooster herself. Adalynn has always been a timid rider and this guy has helped her confidence skyrocket! No buck, rear or bolt, he will go slow or fast. Rooster does will being hauled or ridden with other horses or ponies but will easily ride out on his own, he also ponies well when those littles get tired of steering on their own. Rooster has been on miles of trails including Medora in May of 2023! He rides through town, crosses water, used to dogs on the trail, penned next to cattle, rides in a hackamore or a snaffle. He is finished on all WSCA patterns and has been hauled to numerous shows, barrel races and rodeos. He competed at the MN State Fair and Champ Show in 2023 and took such good care of Adalynn during both pleasure and games. Rooster has also been used in our lesson program and ridden undependably by complete beginners. He does all the obstacles (carries a flag, rides up steps, crosses tarps, etc), he will even pull a skier! He is UTD on trimming, shots and coggins, he has never foundered, clean bill of health.
