Ollie is a great been there, done that type. He’s super sweet and has great ground manners. He has three lovely, smooth gaits. He can be ridden English or western. He’s not one you have to push every stride but is responsive without being too forward. He’s naturally soft in the bridle. He leg yields, turns on haunches, turns on the forehand and side passes. He was purchased by his owner in 2010 after he was started in 2009 by a professional. They started showing Entry Level Dressage in 2010 Competed thru 1st level, earning scores for Bronze metal Ollie has also competed Training Level Pas de Deux, ring classes, trail classes, obstacle courses and in-hand classes successfully. He has also been around cattle. He would be suited for a kid/ youth or an adult. He has been trail ridden but does prefer the arena. Don’t let his age full you, he’s sound and has plenty of life left. Unfortunately Ollie has not adjusted well to his owners move down south which is why he is for sale. Great home is an absolute must! He’s been off all winter and has been back into work as of two weeks ago. Ollie is an easy keeper...He loads, clips, trailers, stalls, stands for the farrier (barefoot). He’s UTD on shots/ coggins and teeth. He has been treated for chronic Lyme disease in the past and diagnosed with Cushings in 2020 (he currently gets prescend 1 tablet daily) Hock and Stifle injections as needed, his stifles were done in fall of 2023.
