Shelby has been ridden on trails extensivley in multiple states including trips to the Black HIlls. She is a quiet horse, but does like to walk out when asked to do so. Shelby will go wherever she is asked. She is quite fearless and rides solo very well. She stands well for bathing, shoeing and mounting. Shelby loads perfectly both in and out of hte trailer. She is up to date on Coggins and shots. Just re-shod yesterday. Shelby has a smooth gait. My preference is to ride her at 8 - 12 mph, but she can travel up to the low 20s. Reason for selling: I have two racking horses and at 76 yrs old, I'm having trouble keeping them both legged up.
