RDJ is well know for offspring dominating the pole bending competition industry. With her looks, intelligence and athleticism, she is a prospect for other disciplines outside the pressures of racing. She is Incentive Fund although never shown IF. "Reyna" is the most honest barrel racer and pole bending horse and hunts the barrels; rides in the lightest bits (simplicity, jr cowhorse, S hack, tender touch). She is very responsive and easy to handle, very forward mover, great gentle ground manners. Her only con is she gets anxiety pre-race before entering alley. Once forward movement is gained into alley, she's all about making her run. For this reason, a calm experienced rider with good light hands is best She has been lightly hauled over the years due to life situations, no fault of her own. She has run 2D/3D with light hauling and not being really pushed. First indoor show NBHA FL State against over 873 entries, she overshot winning 3D by .02 seconds with no professional training. I haven't put her in crowded staging situations of Supershows due to her anxiety. I have used supplements with understanding and calm firm handling but never any drugs for this. Reyna has had one very attractive athletic colt sold within hours after posting and is currently in foal for June to a son of ASNY. With her pedigree, she would also make a nice broodmare in the sporthorse, HUS, racing and many other disciplines. She was a fantastic mother. She will be available in November after weaning. I never thought I would ever part with this mare born here and extremely easy to train, but life forces me to thin the herd and focus on just a few. I have no time for them all.
