Gettin in my League, aka "Trigger", an 11 year old sorrel registered Quarter Horse gelding. I really like having this horse in my barn, and he's going to be hard to let go. His teenage owner just doesn't have the time for him and wants him to get the attention he deserves. Trigger is an all-around western horse that has done a bit of everything. The last two years he's been schooling western dressage and did one Fix-A-Test, scoring in the 60s at Basic Level. Prior to that he was a trail horse and was learning cutting and ranch work. Before that he was a western pleasure horse in accordance with his world champion pleasure bloodlines. He'd be a fantastic Ranch Riding or Horsemanship horse, or stick with Western Dressage and take him up the levels. He knows his lateral work and has a flying change, though it will need a refresher. His gaits are comfortable and the canter floats. On the ground he is easy to work around, great for the farrier, and gets along with the herd. Completely up to date on everything. He spent a few months in my lesson program, and though he tolerated it well, he did not enjoy having many riders or beginners. We are recommending an intermediate home. He does best with someone who knows enough to assert that they are in charge. That said, he's more about timing than muscle. Lightweight teenage girls can handle him! This horse would be perfect for an AA that wants to polish him up and show or a teenager that wants to experiment to find what their niche discipline is. Do it all with Trigger!
