Royal Dutch “Bo” is a 3 year old bay KWPN gelding standing at 16.3hh expected to mature at 17.1+hh out of Angelina M by Gallant Reflection (Galant Du Serein x Rohmanie). Angelina M is bred with strong dressage and driving lines, sired by Roy M. She has produced several foals who have shown success in the dressage arena. Bo’s sire Gallant Reflection is truly impressive and versatile. He was Reserve Champion of his 70-Day Stallion Testing with an overall score of 127 points. He finished 2nd in the dressage phase and 4th in the jumping. His success continued in the dressage ring through the Prix St George level, including 2018 USDF Horse of the Year Top 10 placing in Intermediate II. Although he only has a few offspring on the ground, his oldest son has successfully scored 70s in First Level testing. His sire, Galant du Serein, competed in several top competitions, including the 2005 FEI World Cup and 2004 Olympic Games. Bo possesses his sire’s gentle expression and character but adds size and excellent bone. This coupled with his uphill, expressive movement set him up to be a highly successful dressage prospect. He ties, loads, stands for farrier, and has begun to accept clippers. He is incredibly curious with an eager to please personality. His outstanding pedigree, trainability and athleticism would allow him to thrive in a home with a skilled amateur rider in a consistent program with a trainer to help bring him along or with a professional that is looking for a young talented prospect.
