Scout is a 19yo 15.2h sorrel qh gelding that is looking for his new adventures. Unfortunately his owners life situation has changed forcing this sale. He was owned and ridden by kid. She did a little bit of everything with him. Rode him english, did some jumping, cross country schooling, western, trails and also did some fun games shows. I think that scout would excel with a family that wants to do some trail riding and some fun shows. He’s done the “lesson life” but I don’t think he would be super happy doing circles in a sandbox for his remaining saddle years. We are looking for a special home as he was a special horse to this family. He’s a great horse! He does require more than a complete beginner though. He can be a little pushy on the ground and can be forward under saddle if you are a nervous rider. Which is intimidating to a super beginner. He just requires someone that knows how to be kind but keep boundaries. So if you are new to the horse world this horse won’t work for you. 🤭 he does have manners though. Don’t think he’s feral or anything like that. His owner is actually a very timid kid and rider and he taught her so much in the years they had him.
