Sweet, beautiful 2017 14.3hh black grade mare.
“Prada” is a versatile, novice-friendly mare - happily goes in english or western tack! This girl could truly go any direction - would be great for pony club, a lesson program, working equitation, or gymkhana.
Prada has competed in jumping up to 2’3” with room to move up. She's still on the green side due to being started late in life (no fault of her own), so still had flatwork skills to learn and top line to develop, but she has an incredible brain and is very willing. She has been ridden by beginners and is a good kid/husband horse type. Is currently being used in kids jumping lessons. She is light on the aids and has her own motor - a great ride for a kid graduating from a pony, or for an adult looking for a smaller mount.
She’s comfortable in new environments and happy at the ring by herself. She has a natural lead change that will only improve with miles. Could easily be brought along by a junior in a program.
This mare has great ground manners - ties, bathes, loads, and clips. She is currently living outside in a mixed herd.
Prada has a few food allergies to be aware of - while she doesn’t require any particular feed or supplements, she needs to live on flaked hay with no alfalfa to be her best self (does not do well on a round bale due to dust). She has a past injury to be aware of, but has gotten the all clear from the vet to go back to full work and does not require any maintenance.
