Ayla is a beautiful mare looking for her forever home. Ayla is clever, sensitive and athletic. She is best suited for a patient, kind and knowledgeable person. Unfortunately, Ayla is prone to ulcers and tying up. She has clean back X-rays available to share. Last Summer she was scoped and treated for ulcers. On the 2nd scope she was ulcer free. I have owned her for 6 years and she has tied up 3 times. Since treating her ulcers and being aware of her sensitivity to getting them she has not tied up. With the right management through nutrition, handling, and consistent environment she does very well. She has had 90 days under Saddle last summer and then sat for the winter. This year so far she has had 60 days under Saddle. She has been ridden out at home and on trail rides. She shows potential for dressage with the right person. Ayla has a lot of groundwork and liberty training. She is very sound and barefoot never having taken an off step! She’s incredibly sweet and would never do anything to hurt anyone but under saddle she does require a knowledgeable person. The sales video is showing her fifth ride this year and we traveled off property to use the arena. Currently working on consistent long and low and riding out on trails.
