Trooper is a rare find! He'll lie down in 30 seconds just by picking up his front foot, but he's great for the farrier & knows the difference. My daughter taught him to lie down, as we have 4 horses that do it, including our stallion. Born on our property, we owned and trained his mom and dad who were TALENTED jumpers in the show ring. Trooper has done many parades, swims and gallops through water. He comes up to you in the field and always has. He CRAVES to be used by children and will work all day for you. Trained by my daughter and I, he teaches lessons weekly to children and his favorite thing to do is to canter slow while carrying two riders. He's been trail ridden on BIG hills and went on a 12 mile orienteering trail ride last year with a student, who is pictured. Trooper is fast and enjoys get up and go, if the rider wants to. Proficient on his leads, he trailers great with other horses, and is pastured with our stallion. He would make a great barrel pony, or gymkhana. He jumps great and has been to shows and on a cross country course, as that is our emphasis. More videos to come!
