“Twix” is a registered 2020 APHA Mare who is ready to go any direction. Standing at roughly 14.2-14.3 and 950-1000 pounds. She’s green broke, ready to be finished out in whatever specialty of choice. Selling by no fault of her own, just too small for what I’m wanting and don’t have the time to finish her out. In no rush to sell, so will make sure she goes to the right home. She’s looking for a job!

Does well out in pasture or in a stall, she’s currently in the stall for me to work with her more consistently.

I’ve taken Twix on trail rides multiple times with no issues. She has stalled at crossing water but with a little coaxing she walk across without jumping and crosses just fine. Other than that she can be a little “watchy” looking ahead in anticipation until she sees whats ahead, then is fine.

Have ridden her on the road and didn’t spook around traffic or dogs running around.

She’s barefoot at the moment and has never had any shoes on her.
She stands for the farrier.
When she sits for a while, she gets spunky and wants to release energy, but has never offered any buck, kick or bite when ridden. I will say, she does have her “Mare tendencies” and isn’t a horse that you’re going to cuddle on without her being caught, but when she is caught you can cuddle and hang on her all you want.

She does great when consistently worked.

Can be stubborn in open pasture to catch for me, but she runs right up to my wife with no issues.

Can be a little heard bound as she likes to be with friends and has the tendencies of excessive whinnying. Continually working on it with her. She’s been ridden alone and in groups with no issues.

Selling to intermediate/advanced riders only.

Have worked her in an arena and she’s done well. Does well W/T/C, Neck reins and works off leg pressure/cues. Have only ridden her in a snaffle.
Has had a rope thrown off her with no issues and didn’t seem to mind it.

This little mare would make a great cutting/sorting mare.
She’s been around cows and seems very interested.
She’s sound, only medical history was a cut from a branch that required stitches. No lameness issues. Solid little horse. Just want her to go to the perfect forever home for her to thrive!

Would be open to trade for roping prospects as that’s the direction I would rather go.
