Shadow was removed by the police because his owner was not feeding him and brought to our rescue. He will go out under a 'right of first refusal' contract where we have first option to buy him back if buyer no longer wants him. He is well trained and his legs are all healthy and clean. He has been ridden western and needs a refresh under saddle but is a 'been there, done that' kinda guy. He has excellent ground manners and is very good with children. He is good for the farrier, leads, ties, and blankets with no issues. Have turned him out with mares....somewhere in the middle of pecking order with males. He will test a rider to see if he can get away with pushing thru hands or legs but then he is done once he knows you will hold him accountable. He needs an intermediate rider for that reason or a confident advanced beginner.
