Pete is a gorgeous palomino Irish Pay colt, out of a very well bred cutting/ reining mare.
Irish Pay is a million dollar sire now, and is well known for siring amazing athletes with good minds. They are doing well in all aspects of rodeo- barrels, poles, roping and pickup horses.
There was an Irish Pay heading at the 2024 NFR, and he has sired multiple roping futurity standouts.
Pete's dams pedigree is full of money winning cutters and reining horses, the great cross for rope / rodeo horses. She is a stout, sound mare with an amazing temperament and she has produced several super nice foals for us.
Pete has really excellent conformation, lots of muscle, bone, good legs and feet. He's going to be pretty good sized. He is calm and easy to handle. Has had regular feet trimming, current on vaccines and deworming.
Pete has potential in many areas, I think as a top rope horse for sure, barrels, cows, all around. And I think he's nice enough to consider as a stallion prospect too. He would make a good herd sire for a ranch. Look at the pedigree !
The ONLY reason he is for sale is because he's a boy :) We don't need another gelding right now, or a stallion.
Both parents are 5 panel negative.
