Marina Rose aka Georgie is a 2013, gray, 16 hand, registered OTTB Mare. Georgie is a sweet, smart, and sensitive girl. She is light off the aids without being overly jumpy. Georgie does struggle with some anxieties, however mostly she is just theatrical and never menacing. Good news is although she tends to be an anxious girl, she is very rarely spooky.

Georgie would thrive with a quiet and patient rider who is light handed. Someone who will help build her confidence in the bridle. She will NOT be sold to a beginner rider!! She would also appreciate turnout everyday, ideally with friends, bonus points if you have a stall with a run/small paddock attached. Her one vice is that she does weave.

Georgie is recovering from an injury on her left hind leg. She has been fully cleared by the vet to go back to work and has been working walk, trot, and canter as well as going over poles. Prior to her injury she was schooling small jump courses (x-rails-2’3) and had attended a handful of schooling shows both jump and dressage. I has not caused any residual soundness issues even when being worked 3-5 days a week. She is incredibly sweet, enjoys being brushed, and is nice on the ground. This is a mare who genuinely loves people! She is up to date on everything and currently has no major maintenance other than she does best with 4 shoes. Located in Oregon City.
