He isn't a lazy horse but he also isn't a hot/forward moving horse. He does require a rider that knows how to use their leg correctly and to be effective. He is as soft as they come with very trained aids to move off the seat and leg. He does not do well with a rider that will nag at him to go forward every step, that will make him go slower.

Cyrus has had incredible training since the day he was born and has been exposed to many different scenarios and obstacles. He goes over and through anything without question. If you are not someone that rides every day, that is ok with him as he will still be that safe, smart horse whenever you choose to get him out to ride. He has been on lots of trail rides alone and will gladly ride off of the farm alone and does great with other riders as well.
