Herbie is a very sweet gelding who is ready to find someone to take him showing. I bought him my senior year of high school with the intention of really getting competitive and going to the bigger shows. Unfortunately, college and life got in the way and our show career was limited to open shows on the weekends when I had time. This is due to no fault of his own, just a lack of time on my part. He does have a few Pinto points and went to Pinto World as a 3 year old. He would do very well with an intermediate rider, and I think he would make a super youth horse. He is very gentle and loves people, but he is an exceptionally large horse and does require a firmer hand. He really excels in the pattern classes and is a lovely mover for both the WP and HUS. He has smooth pivots and forehand turns. He was also started on flying lead changes and had a decent handle on them, but due to time off he will need some refreshing and tuning to be show ready. Herbie has been in the pasture enjoying life for the last couple of years but is currently getting a tune up at Ritcha Show Horses in Kingman, KS.
