2020 15.1hh Dappled Grey Andalusian Mare LUNERA XX New Plymouth, ID If you are looking for a fantastic prospect that has lots of talent to go in any direction, Lulu is your gal. She is a lovely mover and exceptionally versatile. She has great ground manners; easy to lunge, stands to be mounted, hauls, and ties. No health or soundness issues. She is barefoot, UTD on vaccinations, teeth, chiropractic, etc. Lulu is in your pocket, very curious, and enjoys being around people. She has been brought along slowly in order to give her time to grow and mature. She is currently able to walk, trot, canter and rein back softly. Lulu has a very large step for a small horse so it has taken her time to learn how to be balanced. She is started on lateral work & will leg yield in the walk and trot as well as do both a turn on the forehand & haunches. She is easy to sit, has a great stop, is brave around tractors, traffic, dogs, livestock, and happily hacks out in a group. Lulu has been cross country schooling a handful of times and is extremely brave. She jumped around some Novice level fences & showed serious scope. She is an uphill ride and not spooky to the fence. If you enjoy riding something that takes you right to the jump on a big step, Lulu would be a good fit. Like any of the horses that comes through my program I except them to be game for basically anything. I’ve hopped on this mare western after two months off and she went around like she’d been doing it all her life. If you wanted to do any kind of sorting/cow work I’m positive she’d take right to it. I’m thinking she may excel in the working equitation or even western dressage as well as the eventing/showjumping/dressage.
