This is the type of gelding we do not get around here everyday. When it came time to figure out where to offer him, we knew it would have to be in a situation where he is in a league of his own! He is FULLY vetted and FULLY X-rayed already too!
"Rocco" is an 8 year old own son of the household name, Wimpys Little Step, NRHA $13 Million sire and the NRHA's #1 Producing Sire of All-Time.
His dam, Chicks LTD, is by Lil Tenino Fair, who has an LTE $86,310 and was an NCHA Non-Pro Futurity Finalist, who was crossed on a daughter of the famous Smart Chic Olena. It is no secret this guy was bred for greatness, and genetics surely did their job!
"Rocco" is a finished reiner, who has been consistently kept in professional training the majority of his lifetime. He does all the maneuvers, and is extremely forgiving in them. He is a big stopper and great turner, with lots of spin and beautiful circles.
After starting off in the reining, this guy went right into the Ranch Riding, where he truly found his calling, getting his name as an AQHA Point Earner in (L1) open events.
Outside of the the show pen and fancy lingo, this guy is SO. Incredibly KIND. He is the kind that wants to be your friend at home, and would crawl into your lap for a carrot if he could. He is QUIET, and if you can hold a set of reins, you could ride this guy. He has packed everyone at this barn around, including Stetson who comes in at 8 months old!
Not only will this guy ride with a bridle, or without one in the arena, He is a phenomenal trail horse, and will cross water, hills, and pastures where you point him, even in our slick spring mess. He packed my city friends who want to cruise around the arena, and even has helped us move around the longhorn between pens.
This guy hauls well, stalls easy, and will take care of his rider even in the chaos of the show grounds. He stands tied, is a statue for the farrier, bathes easy, and is an absolute sweetheart on the ground to handle. He LOVES to be pampered. He has clean, straight legs and no ugly scars or cosmetic injuries. He also requires NO regular injections or special medication to be maintained completely at home.
You will NOT find a show horse this easy! He is on free choice alfalfa, water, and is in a set of regular steel shoes every 6 weeks – that is IT.
