Visit Thehorsebay.com to view full video/vet inspection/ and to arrange to come try Liberty out. Check Out My Resume, aka Liberty, and you will want to check out her resume because she’s the real deal! She’s a registered Friesian Morgan Sport Horse. She stands (Sticks) at 15.3 hands tall and has a heavier build with thick legs, allowing her to carry a bigger rider or pull a heavier load easily. She checks all of the boxes she rides, drives, ranches, ropes, liberty work, tricks, etc. She is a truly special mare who has already accumulated a great deal of experience and a significant number of miles under her Cinch. Most importantly, she is SAFE, and she has NEVER offered to do anything crazy. She has always been a reliable mount. She’s also a one-owner mare, so there are no unknowns with her. You’ll get her whole story. Liberty was born and raised here in Michigan. She was raised by a single mother who has sadly since passed away due to old age, leaving Liberty orphaned. So sad… but she didn’t let that stop her. As soon as she was 2-3 years old, she made her own way in the world, earning her keep by pulling a carriage for her humans, taking them downtown and through the busy streets, braving the crazy traffic that doesn’t slow for horses. Eventually, she decided she had enough of the carriage business and the city, so she decided to “go west.” So she struck out to earn her living on a small little ranch doing light ranch work and roping and holding those cows for her weak humans. Does her story end there? No, she retired from ranching. She didn’t want to have bow legs like all those old cowhands do. She decided to live her lifelong dream of becoming a circus horse, so she learned to perform a few tricks and put on a show for humans who are easily entertained by simple tricks, such as lying and sitting. Eventually, all the glitter and glamour fade, and she decides to hit the trail… literally. She hits the trails and became a guided trail horse, leading her directionally challenged human through the woods, over bridges, across creeks and rivers, and onto new horizons. And now she’s ready for a new adventure, and she’s never been out of Michigan, and she may decide to move into your home state next! Only you can make her dreams come true! In the videos, you’ll see her riding around the arena without a bridle on so completely off of the legs, and that was after she hadn’t been worked in an arena setting for about a month, so you can see she remembers her p’s and q’s. She’s a very smart horse that picks up on new things quickly. She aims to please you and really gives you the best she can every time. And it doesn’t hurt that she’s pretty. The only maintenance required for this girl is her mane and tail, both of which are very thick and lush. It’s naturally wavy and thick, and it keeps growing. She does NOT need any hair extensions, just a good brush or braids. She has the Friesian movement and naturally picks up her feet nice and high in the front
