Lyndy would make an incredible working equitation, dressage/ western dressage, ranch horse, mounted shooting horse, roper, ren-fair performer, or even a fancy trail horse! Lyndy is very safe, handy and has experienced a lot for her age. Lyndy has had extensive groundwork and a solid foundation. She is ready for someone to give her the performance career she deserves! Lyndy would make an amazing working equitation horse! She has practiced many times with the doma vaquera garrocha pole and is very confident in all of her maneuvers and over obstacles. The first clip in her YouTube video is of her riding with the garrocha pole with no hands! Lyndy has solid simple lead changes (started on flying I take time teaching them), lateral movement such as leg yields, shoulder ins and outs, two tracking, sidepassing, counter cantering and the start of a nice little spin! She has a solid neck rein and has been started one handed in the bridle and is doing great. Lyndy is very light in the bridle and is spur trained so would do best with a rider that knows how to use their legs ask for her maneuvers. While she is very safe I would prefer her to go to an intermediate or advanced rider who will be able to give her the performance career she deserves. She has been shown in many ranch riding and open breed reining shows for fun and always did great. She has been ridden extensively on trails, ridden through town, and been overnight camping. She went on our shed hunting trip last year and has been to the beach! Lyndy is gun broke, I've shot roman candles off her and ridden through smoke bombs ect (see Youtube video) Lyndy also enjoys doing ranch work! She can move/ work cows and has been roped off of. She has been hauled out a lot, loads into anything and backa out of the trailer, ties, bathes, stands for the farrier, hobble trained, and knows how to lay down!
