Panda has just turned 6 years old. he Is located in Burbank California. Panda is the sweetest boy ever and absolutely loves people and cuddles. he currently is with a trainer in Sunland working on jumping. he was started as a western horse and was coming along nicely. But with working him we found that this guy loves to jump. he is so athletic he can go in any direction. with the right trainer this guy will be winning in any ring you put him in. he is the right type of forward and loves to work. in April he had his first show. he did the 3 foot and a meter. though he had never jumped a meter before the trainer wanted to try him at it. he did amazing for how big they were. no refusals and even went over a double for his first time. he also had a young teen on him in the hunter flat class and cross rails. he did great out of 18 horses he placed 7th in the cross rails. I can't say enough about the potential on this horse let alone his stunning looks you will defiantly be the only person with a horse like him. he also has a super thick main and tail so if you were to go western he would be extreamly flashy. the trainer has also been using him as a therapy horse and he has had kids with down syndrome and autism on him and done great. now with all the great things he is still young and I would suggest at shows to lunge him to get his energy out. other wise sometimes when you first get one he gets excited, specially after his first jump he likes to drop his head and crow hop little. but he will stop if you pull him up and ask him to move forward.and with more consistent training and time he will stop. I think in a year or two he will be the horse that you could put anyone one. he has great ground manners and a five year old could hand walk him and he would fallow like a puppy dog. he is great with the Ferrier he only has front shoes on but I was ridding him bare foot in Griffith park on the trails and no problem at all. he has the strongest feet. and let me tell you that is worth its weight in gold. I also was taking him out on trial with my dog. he loves dogs and does great with them on trail. he will go out by himself or with others no problem. I also did a little bit of Drill team with him and he was doing great with that. he loads the trailer like a king. if you have any questions just message me. I think pandas best person would be a young kid that they could grow up together. and someone that will be showing, his is just too good to not be in the ring. though if you just want a trail horse I would be open to that but a show home would be my first choice for him.
