Meet JJ!
JJ is a 16 yo ottb. JJ has spent the last few years competing in dressage, and is now taking a step back from the show ring. He is looking for someone to come spend time with him a few days a week! JJ is best suited for a confident intermediate-advanced rider, as he is forward thinking with 3 big gaits, and feeds off of his riders emotions. With that being said, he is by no means “green” and rides very much like a school-master type. He is very mellow under saddle when asked to do movements he is comfortable with. Though he is not competing anymore, he is still schooling most 3rd level movements. JJ would be perfect for an experienced riding looking to dip their toes into the feeling of an athletically inclined horse. JJ does appreciate bonding with his riders, and would prefer someone who is willing to spend time with him outside of the saddle; hand grazing, extra grooming, stopping by to give treats, etc. This lease requires a minimum of two lessons per month ($70/each) and splitting his farrier bill every 6 weeks, in exchange for 3 rides per week. Our property boasts a gorgeous dust controlled indoor, outdoor, round pen, and large property to cruise around. This is a flat only lease, and seasoned riders are welcome to go out on trails backed up to our property. JJ is not the most enthusiastic trail horse, but will go with the right encouragement.
