Sir Gallant - “G” *X-rays on file* “G” is a 7 year old holsteiner (registered Westphalian) out of Caligula II (grand sire: Cambridge) G is just a hair under 16.2, and was given plenty of time as a colt to grow and mature. He had a very slow start, with only a few months under his belt as a 3 year old, and thrown back out in a field to continue growing. He was put into a professional program at 5 years old and is now ready to go in any direction! He has been off property many times to school and compete unrated, and has had a heavy focus on learning the basics through dressage. He catches attention (and compliments!) wherever he goes, and consistently scores in the mid 60’s in training level. He has been started over small fences, and has a lovely jump. G does require a confident intermediate-advanced rider and would be best suited to continue in a consistent program with a trainer. He is forward thinking, and does try to look around, but very rhythmic and responsive to aids. We think he would thrive continuing in his dressage journey, though he has many accomplished jumpers in his pedigree and we believe he would make a fantastic h/j with the right rider to guide him. The cherry on top about G is he is FULL of personality. He LOVES people and if we didn’t know otherwise, we would’ve thought he was a bottle fed baby. He is the definition of “in your pocket”. Hard tie on a trailer? No problem. Inside for three days for rainy weather? Whatever. He’s going into the arena and his buddy isn't? Ok. His buddy going into the arena and he’s not? Even better. He is happy to be wherever there is hay and people. He is brave off property, never makes a single peep for other horses, as long as he has people near him, he is happy as a clam. Super easy keeper, lives on hay and a balanced, currently barefoot, goes out alone or with others (low on the totem pole, but in that annoying little brother way. Not because he’s timid or easy to pick on, he just wants everyone to be his best friend). He has absolutely zero stable vices and physical limitations, has never taken an off step in his life. You don’t want to miss your chance on this horse, he is truly such a pleasure to work with and be around.
